In reply to Grechen Reiter. Yes, I understand that it's an anti-spam measure. I'm just not willing to pay £140 for 6 months for a PO box that I'm only going to use to put on a news letter! It's very expensive. I have gotten loads of News Letters from bloggers that don't have an address in, I'm wondering if they not they could get in trouble for it or not!

The topic of newsletters has been on my mind lately, and as I prepare for the move from Blogger to Wordpress, I definitely want to include this option in the new website design. In reply to Corinne. you will need to include your business address in your newsletter; it's an anti-spam measure that all newsletter services use... if you don't like using your "home" address, set up a p.o. box to use for your blog/business!

I wanted to start a newsletter, I signed up to mail chip and did my research about how to promote and what to put in a newsletter. I kept coming across something I didn’t like – having to put an address in my newsletter. I read into it all and kept reading that in order to send newsletters, I had to include various pieces of information, such as how to unsubscribe, and a address. This stopped me from doing a newsletter all together as I do not want to give out my address. It seems bizarre to me that I have to include my address! Please tell me that I have gotten my wires cross and I can send out newsletters without having to give my address out!

I set up an RSS campaign in Mailchimp but now I am thinking I might want to just create a manual newsletter – Does anyone know if I have to start from scratch or can I just delete the code for the RSS boxes from my existing newsletter? It lready has my header placed at the top and I have added my subscriber list.
